Hi, I'm Jeff Deck!
It wasn't too long ago that I was an unpublished author yearning to share my stories with the world...
I dreamed of being a fiction writer since I was a kid, but everyone told me I wasn't being realistic. For too many years, I listened to them. I didn't believe in myself.
One day I had a crazy idea for a road trip across the U.S., to fix typos in signs. I landed a six-figure nonfiction book deal with Random House based on that trip. This was huge! My friend and I co-wrote the book and were featured on the Today Show, as well as ABC World News and CBS Sunday Morning. But I still really wanted to write novels, not nonfiction.
Fast forward a few years...
I was now writing fiction books and publishing them myself. I released several novels, helped many other authors, and even landed five-figure deals to collaborate directly with clients to write books with clients. I did all this because I finally believed in myself, and I realized the only people a writer has to please are readers.
Now I'm the author of ten books, with more on the way soon. I give talks and lead workshops about novel writing and editing. I get messages from readers about how much they love my stories and characters. I'm so happy and grateful for this journey.
